Kenosha Public Market is a NEW market in town with a lot of familiar faces! We opened our “doors” (literally this time) to our new indoor location at 620 59th Street on October 10th. Kenosha Public Market is a year round market located in the heart of Downtown Kenosha. You will find us every Saturday inside at 620 59th Street (Lakefront Dugout) as we stay warm and cozy through the Fall & Winter Seasons before we venture back outside at 625 52nd Street (Parking Lot at the Municipal Building) to enjoy the sun and fresh air throughout Spring & Summer. Whether we are inside or out, safety is our number one priority at all times. We maintain social distancing and are following the mask mandated orders. We are able to space our vendors 6 feet apart and maximize our social distancing capabilities by providing wide walking aisles to keep our customers and vendors safe while shopping. Farmers Markets have been deemed an essential food source outlet and we have committed to remaining open to serve our community. Not only are we providing a safer shopping environment, we offer the freshest produce direct from the farm, grown locally and handpicked hours before. Consuming fresh local produce builds a healthy immune system and that is something that all of us need now more than ever..
We truly are “a new WAY to market” as there is no other market like us in the area. Our most distinctive feature is our online store, KPM2GO. Our customers can shop our vendors online, pay with a click, and pick up their goods at the market, curbside! This is a fantastic option for anyone who isn’t quite ready to walk the market but still wants to have access to all of the healthy and fresh goods that the market has to offer. Ordering online also ensures that your favorite items will never be sold out! Whether you’re short on time, wanting to ensure your favorite products are in stock and available, or not quite ready to walk around our market, KPM2GO online ordering is there for you!
When visiting the Market, you will find it easily accessible with ample parking directly across the street, provided courtesy of Herzing University. Our outdoor market area is filled with an incredible assortment of vendors and familiar faces. Upon entering our new building, you will be met with the aroma of fresh brewing coffee, friendly faces and some of the most delectable freshly prepared meals in our food court. Continue on through to our Main Market, where 25 plus vendors are waiting to provide you with fresh produce, homemade jams & jellies, fresh baked bread and baked goods, soups & stews that are made from timeless recipes, homemade chips & salsas and so much more. There is truly something for everyone, fur-babies included!
After each Saturday market, it is rewarding to see so many social media posts that highlight families enjoying their fresh goods purchased, fun times and dinners made that night. Whether it is a colorful vegetable tray, a grass-fed steak sizzling on the grill, or a cheese & charcuterie board waiting to be enjoyed, our customers are able to develop a healthier lifestyle by shopping at our farmers market. Our goal is to continue bringing our local vendors and consumers together so we will have a stronger and healthier community.
As the weather begins to turn colder, we are happy to announce Holiday Markets, which will be held on Dec 4th & 5th and Dec 12th &13th. We will have an incredible assortment of vendors with a wide variety of unique items, food, holiday decor and much, much more. We will also have surprise visits from Santa, festive music and Holiday Cheer!
We would like to take a moment and thank everyone who made our opening season nothing short of amazing! Our community showed incredible support and love to all of our vendors on a weekly basis, amidst some very challenging times. Without the support from our dedicated patrons, faithful vendors and generous sponsors, we would not have been as successful. We are looking forward to continuing to serve our community with access to fresh local produce, meat, dairy and homemade products.
